I don't know what it is...whether there's something in the water or if Mother Nature is just pissed...but the snakes seem to be taking over. I've killed 3 snakes in 4 days...2 copperheads (very poisonous) and a giantic rat snake (not as poisonous, but no less creepy). And I'm not talking about running across them while walking in the woods or something like that. I'm talking about these fuckers coming right up to the house and basically knocking on the door. Thank god my dog does a good job as an early warning system; whenever a snake comes within range of her radar, she goes into a barking fit and shows me right where they are.
Plague of snakes: sign of the Apocolypse or just really bad luck?
